Biography

Nora Rupp (CH, 1981) lives and works in Lausanne. She studied photography at the School of Applied Arts in Vevey. In parallel to her artistic practice, Nora Rupp is the photographer of the Museum of Fine Arts in Lausanne. She develops and exhibits several artistic projects and she is particularly interested in portraits. Her questions and projects have become more engaged these last years. she questions herself more particularly on the figure of women and her condition in our society. On a larger scale, she wishes to raise questions about power relations in society  and about new ways of living together.
