Looking for Identity

Igor Ponti

Igor Ponti is a Swiss photographer who began to develop his interest in photography while studying applied art.

Over the years his work has focused on the photographic landscape and how it is related to the human environment.
His images are part of private and institutional collections and have been shown in solo and private exhibitions.

His general topic is a documentation of place and symbols, it’s a journey into how our environments, influenced and manipulated geographic and cultural, shape us, prompting us to riconsiderare the narratives we construct about ourselves, and how geography influences our sense of identity and potential.
