Léonore Veya

Art historian, specialised in photography. Léonore Veya is Head of the Photography Department at the Centre d’enseignement professionnel de Vevey (CEPV), since 2008. She is art historian, and teaches contemporary arts, history of photography and image analysis. She has elaborated workshops, exhibitions and publications projects involving students in collaboration with many photographers, linked to partnerships with numerous magazines and institutions (L’Espace nonante-neuf - Présence Suisse / Rencontres de la photographie d’Arles, Le Festival Images Vevey, Le Musée de l’Elysée, Le Photoforum Pasquart, Le Théâtre Vidy-Lausanne, etc.). She has managed jointly an art gallery in Vevey and two art spaces in Lausanne dedicated to emerging artists, and is founding member of the Fondation Lausannoise pour l’Art Contemporain.

is a Berlin-based writer and independent curator.
